Intra-personal and interpersonal skills

Throughout the project, effective communication is regarded as a critical skill for common goal, especially during team meetings and interactions with relevant stakeholders. For example, I had a particular instance which I needed to convey complex market analysis results to our team that interpersonal challenge was ensuring everyone clarify the data and its conclusions.

Initially, It made me kind of overwhelmed by the duty to convey complex information clearly while I also recognized the importance of effective communication in our project's success so I have no other choice but to improve my communication skills.

From the perspective of interpersonal skill of effective communication, according to the Global Skills profiles, effective communication plays an vital role in deliverying ideas, building relationships, and collaborating successfully with others, which also relates to theories on communication, emphasizing clarity, active listening, and the importance of context too. 

During our project, effective communication was crucial as it ensured that all team members were on the same page, preventing misunderstandings and minimizing errors. Moreover, conveying complex market data clearly is essential in making informed decisions and forming actionable recommendations. 

So as to address the challenge of effective communication, I adopted the following strategies to make sure every group member could understand and think in similar way: 

1. Simplify Complex Concepts 

2. Active Listening and Feedback 

3. Adapt to Different Learning Styles 

By implementing these strategies, I enhanced my ability when communicating complex ideas effectively, which also deepened my ability of team collaboration, minimized misunderstandings, and ultimately contributed to the project's success. Furthermore, these experience highlighted the growth of my interpersonal skill in effective communication. Last of all, I learned the importance of adaptability and the need to respect the diverse learning styles of team members and stakeholders too.
